Frequently asked questions
Can I use a private playlist?
No. The YouTube Data API only returns public and unlisted playlists. Make a playlist unlisted temporarily if you need to analyze it.
Why do some videos show as unavailable?
Deleted, region-blocked, or private videos may be missing from API responses. They are excluded from duration totals when marked unavailable.
Do you store my playlists?
Analysis runs in your browser. Saved and recent playlists are stored only in your browser's local storage.
